The LPG IG-541 Fire Suppression system, manufactured by Tyco, is an engineered clean-agent system utilising a fi xed nozzle agent distribution network. When properly designed, the LPG IG-541 system will suppress surface burning fi re in Class A, B and C hazards by lowering the oxygen content below the level that supports combustion. The LPG IG-541 agent has been tested by Schadenverthutung Vertraven durch Sischertheit (VdS) for inerting capabilities. The system can be actuated by detection and control equipment for automatic system operation along with providing local and remote manual operation as needed. Accessories are used to provide alarms, ventilation control, door closures, or other auxiliary shutdown or functions.

LPG inert IG-541

LPG INERT IG-541 is a mixture with 52%NITROGEN (IG-100), 40% ARGON (IG-01) and with 8%CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2). It is an inert gas, non-conductive, colourless, odourless and avourless. It is non corrosive and may be used at normal temperatures with such materials as nickel, steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze and plastics. Perfect dielectric and appropriate for the protection of all the electric and electronic materials.

Discharge is through valves fully developed by LPG approved by the most renowned independent organizations. They offer a great exible adaptability for all actuation and release systems currently used in the market, even allowing combinations of several of them.

LPG i3 iFlow

FIRENET is a windows based design package used by trained engineers as a means to accurately calculate system parameters. The software calculates optimum pipe sizes as well as calculating the over pressure vent requirements for the given system.

Systems are designed in accordance with EN15004, ISO 14520 or NFPA 2001 using the i3 i-Flow design calculation software. i3 gas is stored in 80 litre and140 litre 200/300 bar cylinders designed to meet the requirements of the TPED (Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive).
